Every person in the world has the same problem. We are all sinners. Therefore, no one is good enough for God to accept us into His heaven. No matter how good we are, we just can't get past our sinful nature. The scriptures tell us that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," and that "the wages of sin is death."

Good News!!

But God has shown us how much he loves us. We did not deserve it, but he sent Jesus Christ to die for us. Jesus paid the penalty for our sinfulness when we could not. The wages of sin is still death, "but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." We cannot be saved by our good works, but rather "by grace through faith" in Jesus Christ.

Because God desires all people to be saved, salvation is available to anyone through faith alone in Jesus Christ, whose death on the cross for the sins of all people provided it completely as a free gift. It is up to you to accept or reject this gift. Once received, it cannot be lost or taken away.
